fund raising

Lads,

Training as normal tomorrow night in Sportsco. It’s our last session of the season there so looking to get a big turnout. Particularly need those who have not yet got raffle tickets for the table quiz to be there – we’ve no game on the weekend so need to give you the tickets tomorrow.

The table quiz is on Wednesday 9th April in the Russell Court Hotel on Harcourt St. It’s the clubs major annual fund raising event so it’s crucial that it’s well supported. We need everyone to sell their allocation of tickets and to try and bring in a team or two (teams of 4 – entry approx €20 per team) on the night.

Huge thanks to the guys who have already helped out by contributing prizes.

See you tomorrow at 7.00.

Daragh

Hi Lads,
ALSAA unfortunately are going to redevelop some of the back pitches during the summer and so the facilities won’t be available to us once the season is over. I think the facilities and the standard of the pitchs have been good, it’s unforunate that this has come about.

This means we’ll have to look for new home pitches. Daragh is contacting the council regards facilities but if anyone else knows of appropriate facilities or possibly even clubs who would be a good match to twin with could they let us know.

A reminder that the Table Quiz is on the 9th of April in Harcourt Street. Please make a big effort to fill a table for the quiz. Everyone should have raffle tickets, if they don’t please contact Rennie, Daragh or myself.
If you have any spot prizes for the night please drop a line to Padraig (PCournane (at) statestreet (dot) com).

It’s the only fundraiser of the year so please make a big effort !!!

With thanks
Ronan

  • We thinking of hosting a table quiz as a fundraising activity the next couple of weeks. Can I get a volunteer to organise the table quiz?

If no one volunteers I will nominate someone in my next mail.

Surprisingly, there were no St. Judes winners in the Seaview Celtic Grand Prize Draw last Saturday. A Fiat Panda would have been nice!
Prize Draw
The Club made just under €300 so thanks to Conn, Darragh O’Driscoll, Dave McGeown and Stephen Perry who managed to sell some tickets.

Hi Lads,

A reminder on the Prize Draw tickets – last chance to put on a push and sell as many as possible. Tickets are €30 each, of whichJudes get to keep €18.Prize Draw

Please don’t forget that you must return the sold and unsold tickets to me, along with all monies collected, in the next 10 days or so. Draw is on 17th November but I would want them back by the 10th. Please keep a record of who you have sold them to, on the stubs, as I have to co-ordinate names with ticket numbers.

Thanks,

Ros.
