Lads,

There’s no training tomorrow night.

First session after Christmas is on Thurs 3rd January.

Saturday teams first game back after Christmas is on Sat 5th January – first Astro game on Tues 8th.

Sunday team aren’t scheduled for a league game until Sun 20th Jan, but first Astro game is on Fri 4th.

Have a great Christmas – see you all in the New Year.

The Sunday team won in their Astro league game 1-0 on Friday night against O’Dwyerski with a goal from Graham Breen. They didn’t have an LSL game the weekend.

The Sat team won their cup game against Loughshinny on Sat 1-0 with Dermot Hayes scoring.

They also won their Astro league game 2 – 0 last night with Shane and Martin with the goals. Gavin saved a penalty with 8 minutes remaining with the score at 2 – 0.

Playing ODwyerski FC next Tuesday.
They are a good side so we need to be sharp.

• Follow directions to Rush
• Drive into the middle of Rush town and turn left into Skerries Road
• Keep driving on the Skerries Road until you come to Loughshinney Village, turn right at the cross roads junction.
• Drive for about three minutes and the pitch will be on the left side, there is a sign post ‘Loughshinney United FC’

Those on xmas parties let me say it again be reasonable if you have a match a tomorrow.

I doubt I will be able to get this one called off unless if the weather deteriorates towards the weekend.
I know a number of you are attending xmas parties left right and center so be thoughtful in your intake of the sacred liquid.

I would like us to a have a good go at this cup this year!!!

The Saturday team won 5 – 1 last night. A hat trick from Shane with Rennie and Martin adding a goal each. A very good second half performance with the score at 1 – 1 at half time. This moves them to top of the table with an extra game played, table here.

Astro Match Day 10: Versus Templeroan 9pm Colmcilles

These boys are the only ones to beat us on Astro this season. They narrowly
beat  us 3-4 in the first fixture. Needless to say we owe them one.
