The Sunday team lost 3-1 last night. Didn’t use the strong wind to our advantage in the first half and went in 2-0 down. Much better performance into the wind in the second half but couldn’t turn it around. Good finish from Colm for our goal after some good work by Paidi.

The Saturday team won 7-0 last night in the Astro league.
Goal scorers Darragh(2), Shane (2), Conn, Donal and Robbie.
Could have been more if we took our chances, great result though.

The Saturday team won 5 – 2 away to Stillorgan. Really very good all round team performance.
We had 4 subs that included two new lads, Liam and Rob, that have joined us for the rest
of the season. Characteristic of our first halfs of the season we were all over the opposition.
We had a number of chances which we didn’t take. Stephen Kennedy scored with a delicate chip for our first. Ros broke clear on the left wing and crossed for Daragh whose shot the keeper couldn’t handle and Rennie scored from the rebound to make it 2-0. Stillorgan then scored a couple of minutes from half time. In the first we lost Shane and Dave McGeown through knee and ankle injuries respectively.
We brought on Ros and Rob as replacements.

We played some pretty counter-attacking football against the wind in the second half. We got our goals through Daragh (2) and Ros in the second. The subs that came on made a big difference.

The Sunday team lost 3-2. Goals from Daragh and Graham in second half was not enough to overturn a 3-0 half-time deficit.

Surprisingly, there were no St. Judes winners in the Seaview Celtic Grand Prize Draw last Saturday. A Fiat Panda would have been nice!

The Club made just under €300 so thanks to Conn, Darragh O’Driscoll, Dave McGeown and Stephen Perry who managed to sell some tickets.
