Match Report

We started well, moved the ball around reasonably. We were clean through at least 4 times except the ref kept giving offside against Anto and Graham, even though they were probably onside by about 3 or 4 yards. We went close with a couple of chances from corners and Anthony was unlucky with a reflex volley that hit the cross bar. We finally broke the deadlock from a free kick on the left. Great ball in from Gordon and
excellent downward header from Breener.
The second half was a more even contest, Peagasus came back into the game a little taking advantage of some sloppy Judes passing and defending. Peagasus scored by winning the ball on the edge of our area, moving it down our left and a low cross into the box was finished off at the back post.
We had a few good chances to go ahead again but failed to finish anything. Game was very tight for the last 20 minutes and we gave away a free kick in a dangerous position. Peagasus number 8 probably shouldnt have been on the pitch for persistant fowling even after a yellow card, however he hit a pretty good free kick into the top corner. Again we had
a couple of chances to level, but it just wouldnt seem to go our way.
A better preformance and better finishing needed in the next game.
